"The Mother " a piece from Tales of Aema, an original dark fantasy world I've been developing through illustration and lore.

The Tadari are a matriarchal, cave-dwelling people led by a prophetic figure known as the Mother, here shown performing a ritual central to their culture and survival.
Included are early value studies and character design explorations that shaped the final piece.
